Privacy Policy
The controller of the personal data described here is WG Realm, trading as RESTREAMER 24/7, Hong Kong SAR ("we"). Contact: privacy@restreamer247.com. This policy covers the website, the customer portal and the service.
1. What we process, and why
- Sign-up and account data — name, channel/brand, email, messenger handle, time zone, what you intend to stream, the platforms you chose, and the rights confirmation you ticked. To review the application, open the account and contact you. Kept for the life of the account plus the period the law requires.
- Portal use — login times, the address you connect from, actions you take (restart, settings, rights statements, content lists) and their audit trail. To run the service securely and to be able to show what was done and by whom. Rights statements record your account, the time and your address because they are the statement we rely on under the Terms §4.
- Stream keys and platform tokens you give us. To transmit to your channels and set titles on them. Stored encrypted at rest on the server that streams for you; never shown back in full; deleted when you remove them or the account closes.
- Your content — the video files in the Google Drive folder you share with us (read-only) and the working copy on our servers. To transmit it. The copy is removed when you remove the file or the account closes (see §3).
- Transmission logs and metrics — what was sent when, to which platform, and how it performed. To operate and troubleshoot the service, and as evidence if a complaint concerns your account. 14 days in normal operation; longer under a legal hold (§3).
- Billing — handled by Stripe. We receive the plan, status, period and an anonymised customer id; Stripe holds your card and invoices under its own privacy policy.
- Notices and complaints — if someone reports your content, we store the notice (their name, organisation, contact, the claim), our decision, and any strike. If you report content, we store your notice, including the address it was sent from, and forward the substance to the customer concerned where the law requires it.
We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not profile you.
2. Who receives data
- The streaming platforms you selected — your stream and the titles you set, under your own account with them.
- Google — we access the Drive folder you shared with our Google account; Google's terms apply to that folder.
- Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (this website), our cloud hosting provider, Hetzner (EU region), as processors.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, and rights-holders to the extent the notice-and-action process requires (for example forwarding a counter-notice).
3. Retention and legal hold
Logs are deleted after 14 days. When a complaint, a strike, a suspension or a legal request concerns an account, we place a legal hold on it: nothing about that account is deleted until the matter is closed. Rights statements, notices, decisions and strikes are kept for the life of the account and for as long afterwards as the law requires us to be able to show how we handled them.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to privacy@restreamer247.com. Deleting an account deletes what §3 does not require us to keep.
5. Security
Portal sessions and passwords are protected with current standards; stream keys and tokens are stored with restricted permissions on the streaming server; the portal and site use HTTPS only. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the portal.
